1986 Concord saw its beginning in the hospitality business. The company became a franchisee of ViCorp Restaurants in Denver Colorado—the parent company for Village Inn Pancake House Restaurants.
   
1987 June 1—Concord's first Village Inn opens in Norfolk, Nebraska.
  December 20—A second Village Inn opens in Manhattan, Kansas.
   
1988 The Village Inn Pancake House Restaurant located within a 120 room hotel in York, Nebraska was purchased. The hotel is now a Holiday Inn Hotel, with an Applebee's restaurant located inside.  The York hotel operates under the license of InterContinental Hotels Group.
   
1990 February 19—Columbus, Nebraska Village Inn was opened. In April, Concord purchased a Village Inn restaurant in Hays, Kansas. Concord was and continues to be recognized by Village Inn's parent organization as a solid, consistent operator. Concord was named ViCorp Restaurant's Franchise of the Year in 1990 for high quality of operations and adherence to high standards.
   
1991 Concord became a franchisee of Applebee's International, Inc.—parent company of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar® restaurants. Applebee's is an industry leader in the casual dining segment.  Applebee's was founded in 1980, when William and T.J. Palmer opened their first restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, then known as "T.J. Applebee's Edibles & Elixirs." Their goal was to provide their guests with a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere offering value and good service. That goal is still Applebee's primary focus today.
   
1992 April 7—Concord opened its first Applebee's in Manhattan, Kansas.
  June 3—Concord opened its second Applebee's location in Topeka, Kansas.
   
1993 April 19—The Lincoln, Nebraska Applebee's at 40th and Old Cheney opened its doors.
   
1994 August 9—St. Joseph, Missouri Applebee's was opened, marking Applebee's International's second largest volume opening ever.
  October 11—Concord broke into the Texas market with the Lubbock Applebee's opening.
   
1995 March 7—The Amarillo, Texas Applebee's was opened, setting a new opening week Concord sales record.
  August 15—North Platte, Nebraska Applebee's opened it's doors.
  October 25—The existing Applebee's restaurant in Scottsbluff, Nebraska was acquired.
  December 5—Concord added a third Applebee's in Texas with the Wichita Falls, Texas location.
   
1996 August 12—A second Lincoln, Nebraska Applebee's location was added at Gateway Mall.
  September 16—Lawton, Oklahoma Applebee's opened its doors for business.
  October 21—Laramie, Wyoming Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar was opened.
   
1997 August 11—Village Inn located in North Platte, Nebraska opened.
   
1998 September 21—The Applebee's in Emporia, Kansas opened.
  October 19—Emporia, Kansas Village Inn opened.
  November 9—Ardmore, Oklahoma Applebee's location was added.
   
1999 July 26—A third Applebee's in North Lincoln, located on North 27th Street, was opened.
  August 30—Evansville, Wyoming Applebee's was added.
  December 14—The Grand Island, Nebraska Applebee's location was opened.
   
2000 July 18—Concord opens their fourth Applebee's in Lincoln, Nebraska. It is located Downtown at 1133 Q Street just south of the Lied Center for Performing Arts.
   
2001 April 24—For the first time Concord opens an Applebee's location inside a hotel property York's Holiday Inn Hotel.
 

August 29—Applebee’s opens its doors in Gillette, Wyoming.

  December 3—Concord acquires nine restaurants in the Gulf Coast region. Locations include: Mobile and Foley, Alabama; Pensacola, Destin, Mary Esther, and Crestview, Florida; and Ocean Springs, Mississippi.   
   
2002 July 29—The Applebee’s in Kearney, Nebraska opens.
  December 17—Columbus, Nebraska Applebee’s opens its doors to the public.
   
2003 June 2—Concord acquires five restaurants in the Rio Grand Valley. Locations include; Laredo, McAllen (North and South), Harlingen, and Corpus Christi, Texas.
   
2004 December 13Amarillo, Texas opens its second location on West Amarillo Boulevard.
   
2005 February 7—Concord opens its first Famous Dave's in Manhattan, Kansas.
 

March 28—Concord opens its second location in Lubbock, Texas located on 4th Street.

 

November 7Altus, Oklahoma Applebee’s opened its doors. 

   
2006

April 3- Ada, Oklahoma Applebee's opens.

September 11 - Edinburg, Texas Applebee's opens.

   
2007 April 16- Famous Dave's opens in St. Joseph, Missouri.
